A word with you please

Growing up in the 1970’s in Memphis Tennessee, was a great time for music. Besides all the great rock albums of that time that came from all over the world, Memphis is responsible for some of the greatest musicians the world has known. Many were our friends, and we spent a lot of time watching, or performing with many of them. It was an inspiring time to learn to play. We knew what direction our life would go from an early time, regardless of how we had to make a living. Music was a passion and became part of who we were, who we became. Our visions and interpretations were not always typical, but they helped us to stand apart among such a gathering of great players and artists. Maybe we had some alien heritage, or maybe we were just a little crazy. We were driven and fortunate to be able to continue our musical journey for many years, sometimes on the same road, and sometimes taking our own path. But always best friends and kindred spirits. With that vibe in mind, we invite you to put on the headphones, sit back and join us through just a small portion of the things we love and have been inspired to share. For us there is a journey in every song and soundscape, with a story that accompanies it. It’s not always 100% written out, meant to leave it to you to interpret as it best suits you. Maybe a bit self-indulgent, but always presented with truth and love – however you choose to interpret that.

Frayser Blvd still runs through Frayser and into Memphis. This was the path that carried us from our homes to Memphis and the world beyond. Often that was in Kinley’s green El Camino with a radio and an 8-track player.

It’s always been the journey that made the most impact, and seldom the final destination.

May Peace and Love prevail in all our futures.

Cheers and Enjoy!
